Brain single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT-CT scanning) has been used in fourteen Long Covid patients seen in family practice with severe neurocognitive problems. Vascular encephalopathy has been demonstrated in each patient and supports the hypothesis of a persistent coagulation disorder in Long Covid.
La scintigraphie cérébrale (SPECT-CT) a été utilisée chez quatorze patients atteints de Long Covid vus en médecine familiale et présentant de graves problèmes neurocognitifs. Une encéphalopathie vasculaire a été démontrée chez chaque patient et conforte l’hypothèse d’un trouble persistant de la coagulation dans le cas de Long Covid.
